Hello pioj

did you plan to write somthing for C4D oder Milkshape? 3dsMax is very expensive and i don't belive that programmers who develop with the cheap blitzbasic have enough money to buy such a tool like max. Wink

I think you'll find the blitzbasic.com forums much more suited for this kind of worklog. blitzforum.de is primarily targeted at the German speaking part of the Blitz community. The english forums also tend to be more generous when it comes down to feedback, so I'd give it a shot.

As for your project, I'm not too sure as to how many people are actually using 3ds Max, considering it's high price, but importing whole scenes directly does sound pretty handy. Would this generated .bb-code also include functions to load the spline data for each entity? Doing this by hand can get messy if there's a single data block per entity - you'd have to know the label of each data block and it's corresponding entity. Having a piece of code that, for each entity, automatically loads the spline data in a bank would be nice.

Hi there,
I'm not an Blitz3D programmer, so i do not know how much work it is to write this pieces of code manually.
But to me it sounds interesting. Good luck with your project.
The reason why I'm commenting this mainly is to to tell you about the "Archiv"-Function in the upper bar where you can upload your screenshots. There is also a thumbnail-function. This is better, because the images will be there forever, because they are hosted on the blitzbasicPortal-server.
So, good luck with your project. Smile
(Where are you from?)
