Hi!, I'm making a 2D map editor based on Draw3D library.
You can place, rotate and scale your map objects with no limitations. Bemap! will also include Blocky!, a background block editor and Colly! for the collisions. Hello pioj,
I really enjoyed watching this video. The Editor looks better and more interesting than many other 2D-Map-Editor. However, i guess it`s easy to use. And I´m looking forward to downloading a demo =) PS: Can this editor create other things than trees? I hope so... |

It seems to me, that you have got a very well functioning drag & drop, moving part of a level editor, that is far away from completion.
There is a lot more to do, but you have already proven, that you are able to do sophisticated feature programming. You just should recognize it, that this program in the given state is not even close to a tool, that you could use to build levels. Its simply too early to say this, too much functions are missing. |

New version on video!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h1jRxLTqlnY - Now features tile selection with mousewheel.. I wanted to show you the tileset selection menu, but I need some more time to fix it... The primary function to save the map works now, so it IS a functional tool right now. I need to start coding the map loader functions, anyway... I feel more comfortable with this graphical environment rather than a classic Windows Form, however a port to Blitz3DSDK is being discussed, which would allow me to show you more features in less time. |
