Ok, in dem Fall könnte DirectInput das Problem sein. Hast Du schon versucht das abzuschalten (geht nur über starfare.ini, wäre eigentlich abzusehen, dass das Probleme macht)
Ich hatte das eingeschaltet, weil die Mausbewegung so einfach nicht so stark verzögert ist.
Bevor du hier nach Fehlern suchst die nicht vorhanden sind, mit dem "Ruckeln" meinte ich Xeres' Problem, die Maus bewegt sich nicht mehr flüssig, sondern ruckelt und bleibt halt an den alten Stellen erhalten.
Das scheint dann also das einzige Problemchen zu sein

Gut, ich bin schon soweit, dass das Problem, das Xeres auf dem Screenshot festgehalten hat, mit der VRAM Benutzung zu tun hat, der ist im Vollbildmodus grundsätzlich aus.
Zum Ruckeln muss ich noch weiter nachforschen, sorry
So, auch von mir nochmal eine weitere Rückmeldung, es geht auch im Vollbild nicht, habe beim ersten Mal Testen einfach zu kurz geprüft.
Die FPS brechen um die ca. Hälfte ein, wenn das Problem eintritt, statt 62.5 FPS sind es dann nur noch 32.x oder 27.x FPS, wobei sich bei der Frametime nichts ändert.
Ich habe auch den 197.45er Treiber drauf.
An den Einstellungen kann ich auch schrauben wie ich will, die Auflösung ist egal, Sounds an/aus ist egal, Bittiefe auto/16/32 egal.
Ich hoffe du kannst den Fehler schnell ausfindig machen, würde gerne weitertesten, denn es schaut echt gut aus.

Uh... Ich war da leider etwas zu optimistisch... Sobald ich eine Einheit zum bauen Platziere, geht's wieder los Oô.
Problem gelöst! Nach einem Treiberupdate (von 195.62 auf 197.45) macht meine GeForce 8800 GT was sie soll...

@DaysShadow: Also kannst Du es im Vollbild ganz normal spielen?
Bisher scheint es nur Probleme mit der GTX-Reihe von NVidia zu geben... :/
Also im Fenster habe ich dasselbe Problem wie Xeres, es ruckelt kurz nach dem Start im Menü und die Maus wird mehrmals im Hintergrund an ihren alten Positionen gezeigt, Auflösung 1024x768.
Im Vollbild hingegen geht alles ganz normal, Auflösung 1440x900, Windows 7 Professional 32bit, Phenom II X2 550, 2 GB Ram, NVidia GTX280.
